iciHaiti - Obituary : The world of football is in mourning
In a note, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) salutes the departure for eternity of one of its faithful servants, Necker Bellevue alias "Papa Neck", who died Friday, May 31, at his residence in Delmas.

"During his playing career, Papa Neck first defended the colors of Victory du Bas Peu de Chose before joining the Racing Club Haïtien via a transfer, for which he himself paid the compensation, out of love for the Old Lion of Port-au-Prince.

As a technician, the coach with the magic wand (he always held a small stick in his right hand), Papa Neck notably managed the Victory, the Don Bosco of Pétion-ville, the Racing Club Haïtien and Carioca of Port-au- Prince, training several generations of players along the way.

In 1969, Necker Bellevue was the lucky winner of a draw organized by the Haitian Football Federation, which allowed him to attend (all costs included) the victory of the Haitian selection 3-0 over El Salvador in San Salvador, in a match counting for the Mexico 70 World Cup qualifiers.

While waiting to know the date of his funeral, the Haitian Football Federation presents its sincere condolences to his family and to all members of the football family affected by this disappearance.
Rest in peace."
