The General Directorate of the National Ambulance Center (CAN), in conjunction with the Artibonite Health Directorate (DSA), recently presented the CAN departmental office in Artibonite.

With a fleet of 11 functional ambulances and 74 employees, Artibonite represents the second CAN Ambulance network in Haiti. The Gonaïves town hall has granted land for the construction of regional infrastructure capable of serving the ambulance networks of the 5 departments bordering Artibonite.

Dr. Henock Savain, Director of the health department, Dr. Didié Hérold Louis, Director General of CAN, the municipal councilor, Fontaine Badio and the newly installed departmental administrator of the CAN, Hamel Standule Fils took turns speaking at the occasion of this presentation ceremony.
