iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Tribute to the memory of Toussaint Louverture

As part of the commemoration of the 221st anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture, the Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien paid tribute to one of the most emblematic figures of our history - Toussaint Louverture. His bravery, leadership and unwavering commitment to freedom forever marked our nation.
On this occasion, the Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien laid a wreath of flowers at the foot of the statue of the precursor of Haitian independence in Haut du Cap.
Through his courageous actions, Toussaint Louverture paved the way for emancipation and independence, inspiring entire generations to fight for justice and equality.
