At the same time, at Delmas 95 and 97, during a police operation in Pétion-ville, the gang leader "Makandal", as he is known, was fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the Police. Furthermore, the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informs that since the past weekend several police operations have been conducted in various gang centers in the metropolitan area, among others in Delmas 6, Downtown Port-au-Prince, Bellevue, Belvil, Road of Frères, Laboule, Thomassin. Several gang members were fatally injured; weapons of war were recovered; 4 vehicles seized and around ten motorcycles set on fire by the population...
