Due to the recent wave of violence in Haiti which resulted in the suspension of flights and the closure of borders, 250 Cubans who were traveling to Haiti to do their shopping 250 Cubans are still stranded in Port-au-Prince https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41823-haiti-news-zapping.html

Faced with this worrying situation, Bruno Rodríguez, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) took measures to guarantee the safe return of his compatriots. He affirmed on social networks that the Cuban Embassy in Haiti is concerned the situation of Cubans residing and transiting in Haiti.

"Consular officials maintain close contact with the Association of Cubans in this country and are taking measures for their safe return," he said without providing details...
