iciHaiti - Quebec : New scholarships from the UQAC Foundation discussed

Weibert Arthus, the Ambassador of Haiti to Canada, participated this week in scientific meetings at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi (UQAC).

During this visit Weibert Arthus had fruitful exchanges with Professor Ghislain Samson, Rector of UQAC and Professor Josselin Val, Secretary General of the Conference of Rectors and President of Haitian University (CORPUHA) around the collaboration between UQAC and Haiti.

The Ambassador also spoke with Haitian students and professors from UQAC, in the presence of rectors Samson and Val. On this occasion, he announced the provision of new scholarships from the UQAC Foundation to Haitian students, for next year, as well as specific scholarships for master's and doctoral research.

The terms of these scholarships will be announced later.
