iciHaiti - Politic : First departmental round table of the Artibonite Youth Network
Under the leadership of the Haitian Youth Observatory (OJH), the "Jèn Yo La - Haiti" Consortium held its First Departmental Round Table of the Artibonite Youth Network.

Held in Gonaïves, around thirty representatives of youth organizations took part in this event to discuss issues relating to the political participation of young people and lead to the preparation of a departmental agenda within which the proposals and recommendations of the young people will be specified.

As part of the "Jèn Yo La" Project, the establishment of departmental networks aims on the one hand to strengthen networking between youth structures for better sharing of experience, an amplification of the impacts of their initiatives and institutionalization spaces for exchanges between them and local authorities and on the other hand to facilitate the development of support mechanisms for the organization and implementation of local initiatives of youth organizations in terms of political participation and reduction violence in electoral processes.

Note that the "Jèn Yo La" project led by the Progettomondo Haiti Consortium, the Haitian Youth Observatory and the Medialternatif Group is financed by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF).
