iciHaiti - Dom. Rep. : Arrest of 3 Haitian forgers of migratory identity cards

The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) informs that after intelligence work, three Haitians (Josué Toussaint, Josue Micel and Wesly Louis) were arrested on rue El Messias, No. 84, Urbanization Jerusalem, in Santo Domingo East. They are accused of forging a migration identity card. They posed as agents responsible for issuing documents and defrauding their compatriots who reside illegally in Dominican territory.
During their arrest, the agents also seized, among other things, several pieces of equipment used by the counterfeiters, including a laptop, with which they created the digital cards which were then sent to production for printing; four cell phones and a passport... which were sent to the investigation department of the National Police, for the corresponding purposes and then sent to the Public Ministry for submission to justice.
