iciHaiti - PNH : Fight against violence against women and girls
The National Police of Haiti (PNH) via its National Coordination of Women's Affairs and Gender Issues (CNAFQG) organized a day of awareness of violence against women and girls for the benefit of police officers of all ranks and grade.

Participated in this activity Ms. Béatrice Ranoromanana, Gender Advisor of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH), Me Greef Bouloge Pétion and Ms. Esther Présumé, Representatives of the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC), Bradley Noël and Ms. Micheline Venort, Representatives of the SEROvie Foundation among others.

Speaking on behalf of the Acting Director General of the PNH, Inspector General Jackson Hilaire, also his Chief of Staff, launched a vibrant appeal to police officers to continue to engage in this fight so that this violence finally stops once for all.

Furthermore, he invited members of the population to collaborate with the PNH in order to apprehend all sexual attackers.

For her part, Divisional Commissioner Marie Jeannette Bateau Salomon, Coordinator of the CNAFQG, encouraged police officers to give particular importance to the different forms of violence of which women and girls are victims.
