iciHaiti - Sports : The Federation vandalized
The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) informs that its premises located in Delmas 60 were vandalized by ill-intentioned individuals who made shameful graffiti on the walls.

In a note the FHF explains “This umpteenth aggression is part of a long list of actions (verbal aggression, threats via social networks and telephone calls,) posed by a group of individuals, supported by certain leaders of Haitian clubs, having the objective of intimidating the employees of the Federation as well as the members of the Standardization Committee and of destabilizing the standardization process initiated almost three years ago but refused by these same club representatives who would be in favor of the non-standardization of clubs, of the process of revising the statutes with a view to organizing good elections for the establishment of a legitimate Executive Committee under the authority of the amended statutes.

The FHF takes note of these acts of vandalism and this behavior which are not in accordance with the letter and the spirit governing world football and Haitian football in particular. An investigation has been opened into this matter and the Federation reserves the right to take the necessary legal measures so that its vandals can answer for their actions before the competent judicial authorities.

The FHF takes the opportunity to bring to the attention of the great football family that any maneuver prioritizing violence will lead "ipso facto," to the sanction of the Federation, or even of our king sport by FIFA.

The Federation invites all clubs that believe in dialogue aimed at removing Haitian football from the spectrum of amateurism to join it in a spirit of harmony and frank collaboration to put the king of sport on the rails of professionalism as they do almost all countries in the Caribbean and Concacaf.
