According to information provided by the victim's family, Dacheline Rosier "met" on Facebook a certain Wagner Méris who claimed to live in the USA with whom she fell in love... Wagner Méris sent her a Visa online so she could enter the United States and then referred her to Pastor Luma Vital, presented as a representative of a travel agency, the girl's mother said. The latter asked Dacheline Rosier to come quickly to the capital to plan her trip. Dacheline Rosier even paid money to this Pastor. The Victim went to Port-au-Prince on November 23, 2023 with a suitcase containing her personal effects thinking that she was going to leave the country, but as soon as she arrived at the meeting place she was kidnapped... Wagner Méris and Pastor Luma Vital cannot be reached by telephone. The only calls that Dacheline Rosier's parents have received are those from the kidnappers who demand the payment of a ransom of more than two million gourdes to release their daughter...
