Tuesday October 17, 2023, soldiers from the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFRONT) intercepted and seized 54 Starlink antennas that individuals were trying to smuggle into Haiti, which were handed over to the General Directorate of Customs (DGA)

Numerous anti-smuggling operations have been carried out in recent weeks, at different points in the border provinces of Perdenales, Elías Piña and Dajabón.

The day before, CESFRONT delivered various products to the Specialized Fuel Control Corps (CECCOM), seized during various operations.

In these operations, carried out over the last 45 days, members of CESFRONT also seized 3,637 cartons of 10 packs of cigarettes, 90 cases of whiskey, 20 cases of beer, 1,351 cases of rum, 11 cases of red wine, and 509 containers and gallons of Clairin, contraband goods from Haiti
