As part of the continued awareness raising in the fight against corruption initiated by the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (IGPNH), a training session was organized this week for the heads of the ten police stations and Southern Sub-Commissions.

To carry out this training, a delegation from the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (IGPNH) composed of Inspector General Henrio Toussaint, Divisional Commissioner John Games Olivier, Deputy Coordinator of the Prison Affairs Division and member of the Office of the Chief Inspector General (GC), Me Théodore Ernst, Head of the IGPNH Coordination Unit, Lionel Bourgoin, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and Paul Descoteaux , Representative of the United Nations Police (UNPOL), visited the South.

This session, which took place in Les Cayes, is part of the tour planned in the Great South by the IGPNH in order to draw the attention of Heads of Police Stations and Services to the fight against corruption, at the level of their respective jurisdiction.

Should be noted that this training is supported by the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH), the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the United Nations Police (UNPOL).
