iciHaiti - MTPTC : From North to South public works are being carried out
Several works are underway in the capital where the Ministry is carrying out reprofiling work on the road from Clercine to Cazeau. This work which started at the beginning of September. On the other hand, the preparation of the base layer for the roadway at Impasse Neptune, at Delmas 43, is in the final stages. Very soon it will be accessible to traffic.

In the South department, the concrete work on Cartagena Street in Les Cayes is 50% complete. This project, which falls within the framework of post-earthquake achievements, is financed by the European Union (EU) and the Road Maintenance Fund (FER).

In the north of the country, work is also being carried out on the coastline bordering the sea at Cap-Haitien, from the airport crossroads to the Boulevard de rue 5. They are progressing quickly, after the reprofiling with input of materials. For the moment, the Ministry's technicians are in the process of laying the foundation layer. Let's remember that these activities have started since the end of July 2023.

Furthermore, the hydraulic concrete construction of the roadway in the Bahon area, which began on August 15, is at 75% of its progress. This achievement will be completed by the end of September.
