iciHaiti - Training : Ceremony of delivery of parchments to the 21st cohort of «Haiti Teen Challenge»
Last Saturday, June 3rd in the presence of several Haitian and foreign personalities took place the ceremony of presentation of parchments to about thirty young people who took Leadership courses at the initiative of "Haiti Teen Challenge".

This is the 21st Edition of this activity, the aim of which is to enable young people, aged 16 to 24, to turn away from all kinds of deviant undertakings and to give a new orientation to their lives in accordance with the objective of "Haiti Teen Challenge" which is to train Irreproachable and Integral Leaders and whose motto is "Transform, Equip, Mobilize and Support."

This latest cohort includes 14 girls and 15 boys, most of whom come from disadvantaged neighborhoods in and around the capital.

During the 18 months spent in residential training at the centre, the learners first followed specific Leadership courses for six months. The rest of the program offered participants the opportunity to learn the profession of their choice, including electricity, computers, plumbing, cell phone repair, air conditioning and cosmetology.

Once graduated, these young people are supported by the organization of "Haiti Teen Challenge" which allows them to continue their studies until university. Then, the institution helps them find a place on the labor market. It should be noted that several former graduates, as part of this initiative, currently offer their professional service to the community.
