Agents of the Immigration Prohibition Service, of the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), arrested at kilometer 10 of the Duarte highway, near Carrefour (supermarket), in Santo Domingo West, an individual identified as Yéyé Fen, member of the "5 seconds" gang of Village de Dieu.

According to the Haitian authorities, Yéyé Fen is accused of murder, attempted murder, aggravated theft, trafficking in illicit goods and other crimes.

He was handed over to the Haitian Border Police (PoliFRONT) at the border point in the province of Elías Piña.

According to information provided by the spokesman of the North Regional Directorate, Rafael Messón, the arrest of this dangerous criminal is the result of an investigation carried out by the North Regional Directorate of the National Police.

The DGM explained that in recent weeks, immigration officers working in conjunction with intelligence agencies, the military, the specialized body for border security, the national police and other agencies have arrested several Haitians nationals wanted by the Haitian police and justice.
