iciHaiti - Economy : End of a mission of the Haitian private sector in the Dominican Republic

A delegation of the Haitian Private Sector, composed of representatives of the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti - West (CCIO) headed by Wilhelm Lemke, President of the ADIH, stayed in the Dominican Republic from March 27 to 29, 2023.
Many meetings were held with Ito Bisono, Minister of Industry, Trade and MSMEs (MICM), the Embassy of Haiti in the Dominican Republic, the Directorate General of Dominican Customs (DGA), the National Council for Private Enterprise (CONEP), and the Caribbean Export, in order to discuss subjects relating in particular to : the renewal of the HOPE/HELP law https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-39049-haiti-economy-senator-marco-rubio-asks-the-senate-to-renew-the-hope-and-help-law-for-haiti.html , the commercial exchanges, the smuggling affecting the two countries, border development and industrial investments.
