iciHaiti - Infrastructure : Public works are not idle
Very active in several parts of the country, the Ministry of Public Works is busy responding to the needs of the population and relieving the ordeal of motorists. Several projects are underway in several cities across the country.

In Port-au-Prince, more specifically at street Cameau, technicians carried out the cleaning and mechanical cleaning of the Brisetout ravine as well as the Bois de Chêne canal, national theater block. On the road to Maïs Gâté, not far from Squatr Hugo Chavez, the hydraulic concrete rehabilitation work on this road in poor condition leading to Gérald Bataille will begin very soon.

In the South Department, the construction of a culvert and street reshaping in the commune of Aquin (1st communal section of Baptiste) are in the final phase.

In the Artibonite, rehabilitation works are currently being carried out on the section of the Ennery - Saint Raphaël road via the Departmental Directorate. In one day of work, on this main road, more than 600 m3 of rubble in two muddy places were removed and transported away from the work site. While backfilling of purged areas continues with reshaping over approximately 1 km of road, nearly 1,500 m3 of backfill has been deposited on the roadway.
