iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Promising partnership with Cities Alliance and USAID
Following a successful working meeting at the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien, "Cities Alliance", with funding from USAID, proposes to work in partnership with the city of Cap-Haitien.

Knowing that urban transitions require continuous investment, Cities Alliance offers a long-term partnership with the city of Cap-Haitien and is committed to working transparently in the long-term interest of the city.

In the short term, it is proposed that the partnership begin with the priorities identified during the initial meeting and focus on the following areas:

  • Urban planning;
  • Responsible management of market spaces;
  • Solid waste management;
  • Inclusive land management and adequate housing;
  • Gender equality, environment and climate change as cross-cutting themes.

An exchange of letters will document the intention of the Cities Alliance and the Municipal Government of Cap-Haitien to work in partnership for the long-term achievement of transformative change. A dynamic partnership that will develop as the project grows.
