iciHaiti - Operation Tornado 1 : Partial assessment in figures of the PNH

Thursday, March 9, 2023, during a partial assessment, Divisional Inspector Gary Desrosiers Spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced that the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) has launched wanted notices against 14 people including Joseph Félix Badio, pastor Gérald Bataille, gang leader Vitélhomme Innocent and 8 police officers, as part of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
In addition, he revealed that since February 15, 2023, as part of Operation "Tornado 1", the National Police of Haiti (PNH) 462 people had been arrested on various charges (theft, rape, illegal detention of firearms, homicide, kidnapping, hijacking of goods trucks, drug trafficking, etc.)
During these operations 10 vehicles were confiscated, 11 weapons, 5 kilos of cocaine and 12 kilos of marijuana were seized.]
