A delegation from the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), made up of the Program Coordinator, the Director of the Department of Economic Initiatives and the Regional Manager of the North-West Office, met with the local authorities of the city of Gonaïves in order to reach an agreement to finalize the targeting process and allow the vulnerable people of this community to benefit from the support of the institution within the framework of the execution of the Project "Expansion of Safety Nets for Vulnerable Populations affected by the socio-economic consequences of the Coronavirus" implemented by the (FAES) and executed in particular by the World Food Program (WFP).

During this meeting, the members of the FAES delegation took the opportunity to express to the WFP and CARITAS officials the importance of quality control of the targeting process in the success of the Project.

The local authorities for their part thanked the government and the FAES for this assistance which will bring real relief to the targeted households of the city and took the opportunity to submit to the FAES other urgent needs of the community.
