The year 2022 has been very difficult but that has not prevented Wilson Jeudy the Mayor of Delmas from doing a lot of work in his commune and setting up many structures to respond to emergencies.

Much like the Delmas Fire Department, a 24-hour service, equipped with the necessary equipment and having its own on-site water filling system, are the reasons this fire department is so efficient.

For the year 2022, because of the problem of fuels stored clandestinely in the homes of citizens, many fires have broken out in families in the commune and in neighboring areas such as : Tabarre, Cité Soleil, Pétion-ville, etc...

Throughout the year the firefighters of Delmas who work 24/24 in concert with the Center for Information and Operations of the National Police of Haiti for fire alerts, extinguished more than 100 fires and saved the lives of many people.
