iciHaiti - Social : Nearly 50,000 food kits distributed during the end of year celebrations

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) distributed 48,800 food kits from December 24 to 31, 2022 to the most deprived people in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince. This distribution is part of the multi-sector emergency program for the appeasement and social reintegration of vulnerable groups through the "Panye Solidarite" sub-program.
On Saturday December 24, 2022, 8,900 food kits were distributed; Monday 26: 6,050 kits; Tuesday 27: 7,350 kits; Wednesday 28: 4,550 kits; Thursday 29: 7,700 kits; Friday 30: 9,400 kits and Saturday, December 31: 4,850 kits.
It should be noted that to mark this end-of-year celebration, the Henry Government has decided to intensify the distribution of food kits and hot meals, among other things, in order to come to the aid of vulnerable populations.
