iciHaiti - Social : Distribution to families of the refuge at Carrefour-Feuilles high school 03/01/2023 09:13:46
This distribution is part of the Ministry's fight to support women in difficult situations in working-class neighborhoods, and it is in line with the spirit of sharing which must animate us all in the place of the Christmas celebrations where we must extend the hand to those who cannot, in honor and respect. The Ministry has already carried out several distributions in the high school and all the other shelters in the area, last November. We recall that these families were forced to flee their homes after the attack by armed men against the Savanne Pistache police station on November 10th. It is the "United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees" (UNHCR) which provided support to the Ministry for the Status of Women to make this distribution possible.  Should be noted that the distributions continue in all other hosting sites.
