After a first phase of the Training Plan on the implementation of aquaponic systems, intended for 10 agricultural technicians from the municipality of Kenskoff https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38369-haiti-agriculture-the-aquaponics-project-is-progressing-in-its-implementation-in-kenskoff.html a second phase was developed during which these technicians in turn trained more than 100 farmers in the region in innovative aquaponic techniques.

Through two training sessions, these farmers received theoretical and practical training in aquaponics management, crop production, integrated pest management, economic or post-harvest management. In this way, the sustainability of the aquaponic system already installed in the area is guaranteed, consisting of a multitunnel structure of 800 m2, which combines an area of 600 m2 inside for the cultivation of vegetables and 200 m2 for the installation of aquariums.
