The Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT), the elite unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), also called the PNH Intervention Group, is hard at work in the framework of the materialization of the security plan for the holiday period, drawn up by the police institution.
SWAT men are deployed in the streets of the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area and carry out foot patrols.
As the Nativity and New Year celebrations approach, the PNH has once again mobilized to ensure the safety of the population and property and to thwart acts of banditry.
