iciHaiti - SONAPI : Inauguration of the OFATMA Medical Unit (Video PM)
Friday, December 16, 2022, the Prime Minister a.i., Ariel Henry, inaugurated the Medical Unit of the Office of Occupational Accidents, Sickness and Maternity Insurance (OFATMA), at the National Company of Industrial Parks (SONAPI), an important park metropolitan industrial sector, a government project for the benefit of workers and their families.

In his speech, Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry declared "[...] The redevelopment of the Sonapi Medical Unit is part of the government's social protection systems in order to better meet the needs of workers and their dependents.

This inauguration is of great importance, since it testifies to a concrete commitment to workers in the textile sector, severely affected by the crisis that is raging in the country.

Job creation remains one of my government's priorities. We are doing everything possible to create the right conditions to attract more foreign direct investment, which creates stable and well-paid jobs. We need to recover lost jobs and create new ones.

For this, we must all contribute to bringing back stability, security and respect for the rule of law in our country.

Inflation and the high cost of living are worrying all our compatriots, especially our workers. Our resources are limited, but the social fiber that characterizes my Government requires me to continue to reflect so that other support measures are implemented gradually. [...]"
