Towards the effective and complete resumption of school activities on the national territory. The Ministry of National Education revealed the percentage of schools operating in Haiti by department as of December 12, 2022.

Greater number of functioning schools (South Dept.) 97% increase +7.7%
Lower number of functioning schools (North Dept.) 17% increase +41.6%

Southeast: 81% increase +80.0%
Grand’Anse: 78% increase +200%
North-West: 67% increase +26.4%

North-East: 27% increase +92.8%
