As part of its participation in the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit, the Haitian duo Olando Joseph (OVC-Ouanaminthe player) and Rony Fleridor, Tigers-ASTT player (from the "Centre Sport pour l’Espoir Haïti" of Canaan) played their last match against the Cayman Islands

Our Grenadiers approached the match with the right mindset and they were able to make the technical adjustments necessary to deliver a final fight. Evidenced by the very tight final score : 22-20 / 23-21 and ranks 9th out of 16 participating teams.

"For a very first international outing and in view of a preparation that had its constraints and limits, the results are very encouraging, especially since we presented a U-23 team in a Senior tournament. There is still a long way to go, but we are confident about the future. Our Grenadiers (the same duo) and their coach (Pedro Cédemé) are looking forward to taking part in the next Central America and Caribbean Beach Games, which will take place from November 19 to 26, 2022 in Santa Marta, Colombia," said Margarette C. Graham, President of the Haitian Federation of Volleyball (FHVB).
