Thursday, October 6, 2022, Tarah Ernest became the first Haitian woman pilot to fly an American Airlines Boeing to Port-au-Prince.

She made the announcement to the airport and to the passengers of her first flight which was about to take off from Miami airport to Port-au-Prince
