iciHaiti - Literature : Haiti in the Finalists of the «Les Afriques 2022» Prize 29/09/2022 10:14:37 2022 Finalists : - Estelle-Sarah Bulle (Franco-Guadeloupean) with her novel "Les étoiles les plus filantes" - Emmelie Prophet (Haitian) with her novel "Les villages de Dieu" - Imbolo Mbue (Cameroonian-American) with his novel "Puissions-nous vivre longtemps", (translation: Catherine Gibert) - Fann Attiki (Congolese) with his novel "Grotte 72" - Osvalde Lewat (French-Cameroonian) with his novel "Les Aquatiques" This year's jury includes former jurors Ambroise Kom (President), Hortense Sime, Alphonsine Bouya, Mr. Boubacar Boris Diop, Mr. Sada Kane, Mr. Koulsy Lamko. They are joined by novelist, poet and international civil servant (Benin) Adelaide Fassinou, poet and novelist (Haiti) Kettly Mars and associate professor of the University of Montreal Mr. Josias Semujanga from Canada (Rwanda). The winner, to be announced in mid-December, will receive a cash prize of 6,000 Swiss francs, an artwork worth 3,500 Swiss francs and 10,000 books purchased from the publisher to be distributed across the continent.
