iciHaiti - Covid : Delivery of materials and equipment to strengthen the vaccination program
Tuesday July 26, 2022, Alex Larsen, the Minister of Public Health handed over a batch of materials and equipment to the 10 departmental directorates in order to strengthen the expanded vaccination program throughout the country.

Thanks to the support of UNICEF and other partners, 400 motorcycles, an ambulance, 18 vehicles including 14 pick-ups, 3 refrigerated vehicles, solar kits and 60 incinerators, among others, were distributed to departmental directors to facilitate the availability of vaccines in all vaccination sites for the benefit of the population.

This handover of equipment took place on the occasion of the relaunch of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination, while the number of cases is on the rise in 9 out of 10 departments according to the latest figures made available by the Ministry in dated July 17... Alex Larsen, the Minister of Health, invited the entire population to be vaccinated in order to reduce the high risk of contamination due to the appearance of numerous variants and sub-variants of Covid-19.

Dr. Alex Larsen thanked the Taiwanese cooperation, the American Government, Japan, UNICEF, PAHO/WHO, USAID, the World Bank and the CDC for their support in strengthening vaccination against Covid-19.
