iciHaiti - Bilateral : Inventory and evaluation of agreements signed between Haiti and the DR

The Technical Secretariat of the Haitian-Dominican Mixed Commission organized an important workshop at the Kinam Hotel this week (July 21 and 22) on the inventory and evaluation of the agreements signed between the Republic of Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

The objective of this workshop is to firstly identify all the legal instruments signed in each sector and secondly to carry out an in-depth examination of each agreement while placing particular emphasis on the level of effectiveness commitments that have been formally made by Haitian and Dominican leaders.

This workshop brought together the public sector through representatives of all Ministries and also representatives of civil society associations, the trade union sector and the private sector. The report of this intellectual effort that has been produced will be transmitted to the authorities concerned for the necessary follow-up.
