Friday July 15, 2022, Mrs. Gina Jean Louis Rolls under warrant notice and ban on leaving the territory was arrested for her alleged involvement in the importation of a shipment of arms and ammunition seized in Port de Port-au-Prince in containers arrived in Haiti under the cover of the franchise held by the Episcopal Church of Haiti.

Customs Commissioner (broker by profession), she was responsible for facilitating the clearance of containers in which were found, among other things, 22 firearms including 19 assault rifles, 140 chargers and more than 14,600 ammunition.
Ms. Gina Jean Louis Rolls rejects allegations that she was directly involved in arms trafficking activities in Haiti, saying that she was unaware that weapons and ammunition had been hidden in the containers that she had to clear customs.
