iciHaiti - Cinema : «July 7» a feature film inspired by the life of President Moïse (Video)

For his last feature film "July 7" the Haitian director Robinson Lauvince, living in the USA, with a budget of 10 million dollars and prestigious Haitian actors like Jimmy Jean-Louis and Fresnel Larosilière alongside foreign actors, did not lack of resources to make a great quality professional film.

Inspired by the eventful life of Jovenel Moïse, President of Haiti assassinated on July 7, 2021, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34162-haiti-flash-president-jovenel-moise-assassinated-by-mercenaries-official-updated-7am-+-video.html the director wrote the story based on real events and the writer Gary Victor and actor Paul Henry Athis wrote the screenplay.

Robinson Lauvince would like to point out that his film "July 7" is neither a tribute to the late President nor his trial but was made rather for the sake of history. The film tells the story of a president, his childhood and all the paths he had to travel before reaching the supreme magistracy until his assassination in his residence.

The film is currently in post production.
