Patrick Almonor the Deputy Mayor of Cap-Haitien held a very fruitful working meeting with Ambassador Antonio Rodrique, the Head of the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the United Nations, Mrs. Marie Andrée, Consul General of Haiti in New York, and Dr. Andrise Bass, Head of Humanitarian Focus Foundation.

This meeting had three main objectives:

1) Promote the city of Cap-Haitien, Metropolis of the North, as the only natural and safe tourist destination in Haiti;

2) Promote the North Region as an area of business and economic opportunities;

3) Propose to the Diaspora an alternative facilitating the creation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the North region through the Business Facilitation Office (BFA), within the framework of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien and the Chamber of Commerce of the North and Industry (CCNI).

The follow-up of this meeting will be ensured by Charles Philippe Bernoville Responsible for Partnership and External Cooperation of the Municipality of Cap-Haitien, with the partners concerned for the achievement of the 3 objectives.
