iciHaiti - Digicel : 6th edition «Konbit for Chanjman» applications open
The Digicel Foundation officially launched its 6th edition of "Konbit pou Chanjman" in May. Applications for community project funding will be received until July 22, 2022 https://www.digicelfoundation.org/haiti/fr/accueil/subventions/appliquer-pour-une-subvention.html

Through this campaign, the Digicel Foundation reaffirms its desire to support ideas that create change. It is making US$150,000 available to 15 local non-profit organizations, based and registered in Haiti, working in the following areas : Education, Livelihoods, Culture, Access, Inclusion, Disaster Prevention.

Any interested organization can apply on the website https://www.digicelfoundation.org/haiti/fr/accueil/subventions/appliquer-pour-une-subvention.html or fill out the application forms available in Digicel stores.

Key dates to remember for this 6th edition :

  • The deadline for submission is July 22, 2022. All organizations that have applied are automatically enrolled in Phase 1 and will receive an email notifying them that their application is being processed;
  • The notification of phase 2 will be on September 6, 2022. All organizations will receive an email indicating whether they have been selected for this phase and those that have been selected will be contacted to schedule a site visit with the Konbit Pou Chanjman assessment team;
  • The final phase will be announced on December 14, 2022. All organizations that participated in phase 2 will receive an email indicating whether they have been selected for the final phase;
  • During the month of January, the finalists will be invited to Port-au-Prince to present their community project to the jury of Konbit Pou Chanjman. These finalists will also benefit from training on the governance and management of non-profit organizations;
  • The prize presentation will take place in March 2023.
