Wednesday, April 13 as part of his actions to revitalize the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Frantz Elbé the Acting Director General of the police institution had a fruitful meeting with police officers with reduced mobility, victims in the exercise of their functions.

A meeting which took place in the presence of Wency Bien-Aimé of the Central Administrative Directorate, of the Divisional Commissioner Kesnel Pierre Director of Welfare and of Commissioner Ulcénaire Bujou Responsible for the Medical and Social Services of the PNH.

Several police officers with disabilities resulting in significant and persistent disabilities related to motor activities and vision, among others, had the opportunity to present to Commander Elbé the various problems they face, particularly related to their disability.

During this meeting, Frantz ELBÉ highlighted the draft decree on compensation for police officers who are victims in the exercise of their duties, specifying that this document had been submitted to the Government for the necessary follow-up. In addition, he also addressed the issue of ranks for this category of agents and the special treatment in the delivery of their check.

In addition, he promised to do everything possible to revitalize the Department of Well-being and Medical and Social Services within the PNH, for the welfare of police officers and administrative staff.
