Unfortunately, our Grenadiers who could not count on the executives of the national team among others Johnny Placide, Duckens Nazon, Frantzdy Pierrot, Brian Alcéus lost [2-1] against very motivated Guatemalans. This defeat calls into question the choices of the coach but also the attitude of certain players.

In the first period, our Grenadiers missed several opprtunities, one have to wait until the 24th minute of play to find the opening on a cross from Alex Christian Junior allowing Carnejy Antoine to open the scoring in favor of Haiti [0-1].

At 44' C. Mejia taking advantage of a disorganization of the Haitian defense scored the equalizing goal for Guatemala [1-1]. Wanting to keep their lead, our Grenadiers do anything and concede a second goal at 45'+2 from G. Gordillo [2-1].

Upon returning from the locker room, our Grenadiers tried everything in vain to regain control despite several late changes from coach Jean-Jacques Pierre, the score remained unchanged.
