Unfortunately, our Grenadiers who could not count on the executives of the national team among others Johnny Placide, Duckens Nazon, Frantzdy Pierrot, Brian Alcéus lost [2-1] against very motivated Guatemalans. In the first period, our Grenadiers missed several opprtunities, one have to wait until the 24th minute of play to find the opening on a cross from Alex Christian Junior allowing Carnejy Antoine to open the scoring in favor of Haiti [0-1].

At 44' C. Mejia taking advantage of a disorganization of the Haitian defense scored the equalizing goal for Guatemala [1-1]. Wanting to keep their lead, our Grenadiers do anything and concede a second goal at 45'+2 from G. Gordillo [2-1].

Upon returning from the locker room, our Grenadiers tried everything in vain to regain control despite several late changes from coach Jean-Jacques Pierre, the score remained unchanged.
