Thursday, March 10, shortly before 5:00 a.m. at streets 19 and 20B in Cap-Haitien, a violent fire broke out according to witnesses at the Sublime Bar Restaurant in a shopping complex located in an old colonial house.

The fire quickly spread before the arrival of firefighters and completely destroyed in addition to the restaurant, the building housing the "Université Libre d’Haïti" and several other businesses including a borlette bank and a soft drink depot...

The damage is considerable, the cause of the fire remains unknown for the moment. Fortunately, there were no reports of loss of life or injuries.
