Former Senator John Joël Joseph (59 years old), accused by Haitian justice of complicity in the plot to assassinate President Jovenel Moïse on July 7, 2021 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34162-haiti-flash-president-jovenel-moise-assassinated-by-mercenaries-official-updated-7am-+-video.html for renting four vehicles which were used by the Colombian commando on the night of the assassination, will appear in court in Jamaica on Thursday, March 10, 2022 with his wife Edume and sons Schopenhauer, 17, and Abaku, 9, (all charged with illegal entry into Jamaica).

According to Me Donahue Martin, the lawyer for the Joseph family, this appearance aims to take stock of the asylum request that his clients filed on February 3, John Joël Joseph fearing for the life of his family if they are repatriated to Haiti.
