iciHaiti - Diplomacy : Launch in Haiti by the Dominican Embassy of the binational magazine «Diplo Isla»
As part of the 178th anniversary of the national independence of the neighboring Republic (February 27), during a ceremony at the Dominican Embassy in Haiti, in the presence of the Haitian Minister of Tourism Luz K. Cassandra François; the apostolic nuncio and dean of the diplomatic corps accredited in Haiti, Mgr. Francisco Escalante; the accredited heads of the diplomatic missions and the civil and military authorities, the Dominican Ambassador Faruk Miguel Castillo, launched the first edition of "Diplo Isla", a digital and printed magazine of the diplomatic mission.

"Diplo Isla" is a bilingual publication (in French and Spanish) of 60 color pages with high quality printing and content.

According to Ambassador Faruk Miguel Castillo "the objective is to strengthen the ties of friendship and good neighborliness between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, within the framework of the foreign policy of President Luis Abinader, carried out through the intermediary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Roberto Alvarez.

The first edition of Diplo Isla includes items of interest in the multilateral, bilateral, political, commercial, economic and social fields, as well as cultural and public diplomacy initiatives.
