According to the first information available, Georges Pierre-Richard is one of the active members of the "400 marozo" gang operating in Croix-des-Bouquets. At the same time, in the first section Joanarya, locality of Savane Alaine, municipality of Hinche, the named Elmetus Odanès (53) was also arrested by the police for various offenses, including the assassination of Gilles Gélès, killed on the night of 6 to 7 February 2022. Let's recall that for several weeks, specialized units of the PNH have been launching intensive operations in Croix-des-Bouquets during which several bandits were killed and others seriously injured in gunshot exchanges. Some of them seek refuge in provincial towns. The National Police, which is carrying out search at the hospital level, calls for the collaboration of the population in order to apprehend these bandits. IH/ iciHaiti
