iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : The Minister of Tourism assesses the potential of forts Picolet and Saint-Joseph
On the sidelines of her stay in Cap-Haitien, the Minister of Tourism Luz Kurta Cassandra François, visited the sites of the remains of forts Picolet and Saint-Joseph (at the end of boulevard Carénage) in the company of her Director of Cabinet, the Director of the North Regional Office and the Director of Investments, with the aim of diversifying the tourist offer and developing regional destinations.

This visit made it possible to assess the tourist potential of these two forts, witnesses of our historical heritage built during the colonial era between 1739 and 1747. With the forts Magny and Dame, they formed the defensive system of the city.
