iciHaiti - Leôgane : Serious road accident, at least 3 dead and 10 injured (provisional assessment) 31/12/2021 08:48:52
According to testimonies, the accident occurred when the driver of a bus operating the Port-au-Prince / Grand'Anse route, wanting to avoid hitting a motorcycle-taxi, lost control of his vehicle, which spilled over onto several people, colliding with two motorcycles and a pickup truck. A tractor was needed to get the victims trapped under the bus. The provisional toll is heavy and stands at 3 dead at the scene of the accident and around ten injured. The national police, the mayor of the municipality and the fire brigade went to the scene of the accident to help the victims. Firefighters rushed the injured to hospital. IH/ iciHaiti
