iciHaiti - 17 years of the CNMP : The PNH receives a Plaque of Honor

Friday, December 3, 2021, during the celebration ceremony of the 17th anniversary of the creation of the National Commission for Public Procurement (CNMP), one of the sovereign institutions of the Republic, responsible for the fight against corruption and the protection of the interests of the State, Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry declared that he intended to strengthen the CNMP. "My presence this morning at this ceremony is part of a strategy of legitimizing and strengthening this institution which assumes the heavy and sometimes dangerous responsibility of preventing and combating corruption in the award of public procurement."

He also set out the 4 principles of good governance that public contracts must respect to preserve the interests of the State, namely: 1) free access to public procurement; 2) equal treatment of applicants and transparency of procedures; 3) respect for ethics and 4) efficient public spending.

In addition, the CNMP awarded a plaque of honor to the Administration of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) for its Specialized Public Procurement Commission-CSMP, and its sound and remarkable management which has proven itself in terms of public procurement.
