iciHaiti - UN Women : 25 women leaders trained in politics 28/11/2021 09:33:33
This training was given as part of the Academy of Women's Political Leadership program launched in 2020 with the support of the Representation of the International Organization of the Caribbean and Latin American Francophonie, in collaboration with the United Nations Program for the development (UNDP - Haiti) and the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights. This initiative aims to contribute to the consolidation of peace and good governance, with greater participation of women in the management of public affairs. 25 women leaders from 6 departments of the country have been trained as trainers on political ideas and the fight for women's rights in Haiti and other themes that can strengthen their skills and capacities of political leadership.
