iciHaiti - Health : Review of the National Ambulance Center (June 2021) 14/07/2021 09:54:22 Of the 1,090 cases handled by the CAN in June 2021 (-23.40% compared to the previous month hhttps://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-33942-icihaiti-health-review-of-the-national-ambulance-center-may-2021.html), 20% were confirmed cases of Covid-19, 19 were obstetric emergencies and 19% were transfers. This report reveals that the CAN intervened in: 23 cases of respiratory distress; 54 cases of chronic disease; 211 obstetric emergencies; 210 transfers (references and laboratory examinations); 157 various ailments (Malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.). In addition, CAN intervened in 78 road accidents, 17 gunshot wounds, 24 stab wounds, 28 head injuries and 4 burn cases, as well as 214 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 40 suspected cases. 643 interventions took place in the West, 133 in the Artibonite, 60 in the North / North-East, 55 in the North-West, 66 in the South, 70 in the South-East, 0 in the Center, 45 in Grand'Anse and 18 in Nippes.
