iciHaiti - Insecurity : FAES and Taiwan help displaced people
The Government, within the framework of the execution of the National Social Assistance Program "Kore Pèp" piloted by the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) with the unconditional support of Taiwan (Republic of China), comes to the aid of residents of Martissant who were forced to flee their homes because of the gang war to take refuge in the Carrefour Sports Center.

People with special needs living at Camp Lapiste in Delmas 2, victims of arson, also benefit from this social assistance.

Operations to distribute hot dishes and hygienic kits have started since June 23 in all sites hosting displaced people https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34069-haiti-flash-8-550-people-fled-the-combat-zones.html

Note that these operations were carried out with the participation of other public institutions including the Departmental Delegation of the West, Civil Protection, the Town Hall of Carrefour, the Maritime Navigation Service of Haiti, the Haitian Coast Guard and the National Police of Haiti.
