iciHaiti - Insecurity : Words of sympathy from the CFHCI 25/06/2021 10:40:38
In a note, the Board of the Franco-Haitian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CFHCI) "[...] expresses its deepest sympathies to all the victims in general and to its members and their employees in particular, affected by the recent acts of violence perpetrated in particular in Martissant, Bel-Air and Delmas in recent weeks.
They are also aimed at the victims of the looting which took place during the days of June 18 and 19, adding to the deleterious climate prevailing in the country.
The CFHCI condemns these acts with the greatest firmness. Faced with this unbearable situation, the Chamber intends to play its part by engaging alongside other private sector institutions to speak with one voice and contribute to the establishment of proposals and consensus.
It took the opportunity to launch a call for consultation with other actors of civil society in order to find a solution to end the crisis."
